Cinderace VMAX Single Strike Deck [Fusion Strike]

Overview

Cinderace VMAX Single Strike has decent toughness with 320 HP. As expected, it has Water type weakness so it is not good matchup against Pokemon like Suicune V or Ice Rider Calyrex VMAX.  Similar to Cinderace VMAX from Rebel Clash, Cinderace VMAX Single Strike also has 2 Energy retreat cost.

Playing CInderace VMAX Single Strike is quite straightforward since there is no condition to fulfil to increase its damage. and all you have to do is simply attach Energy for its attack. Its only attack, G-Max Fire Ball require 1 Fire Energy and 3 Colorless Energy to use and has 230 damage. But, Cinderace VMAX can't attack during your next turn. This damage is strong enough to OHKO most of the Basic Pokemon V. Because of 3 Colorless Energy in its attack, Cinderace VMAX attack can be accelerated with different types of Energy. Of course, it is better to limit to 2 types of Energy in your deck.

Since CInderace VMAX is a SIngle Strike Pokemon, it is better to use it together with other Single Strike cards to improve the overall strategy of the deck.

Its pre-evolution, Cinderace V Single Strike has also poccess similar attack. Its second attack, All-Out Shoot also require 1 Fire Energy and 3 Cololress Energy but this attack has lower damage of 210. Also, Cinderace V can't attack during your next turn. The other attack, Flare requires 2 Colorless Energy and does 50 damage.

Energy Setup

Houndoom Single Strike Ability, Single Strike Roar will be used to accelerate Energy for Cinderace VMAX in this deck. This Ability let you attach 1 Single Strike Energy from your deck to 1 of your Single Strike Pokemon and put 2 damage counters on that Pokemon. Since there are 3 Colorless Energy in Cinderace VMAX attack, it is best to have 3 Hounddom Single Strike on your bench.

Each Single Strike Energy will add extra 20 damage to Cinderace VMAX attack. With 3 Single Strike Energy, CInderace VMAX G-Max Fireball damage will become 290.

Increased Damage

290 damage is still not strong enough to OHKO your opponent VMAX Pokemon.  Karen's Conviction let your Single Strike Pokemon to deal extra 20 damage for each Prize Card your opponent's has taken. So, if 1 of your Cinderace VMAX got knocked out, your other Cinderace VMAX damage will become 350 damage with Karen's Conviction effect. In other words, you will be able to OHKO your opponent .VMAX with Karen's Conviction and Cinderance VMAX as long as your opponent has taken 3 Prize cards.

Additional Attacker

Tyranitar V Single Strike  is chosen has another attacker in this deck because its attack, Single Strike Crush has high damage of 240 and this attack cost can be accelerated with Houndoom Ability Single Strike Roar. In addition, you can attach 2 Fire Energy for 2 Colorless Energy for this attack. Like Cinderace VMAX, Tyrantar V can be used to OHKO your oppoent VMAX Pokemon with Karen's Conviction in the late game. Also, it can be used to counter against popular Psychic Pokemon like Shadow Rider Calyrex VMAX.

Attack again without recharging

Cinderace VMAX G-MAX Fire Ball doesn't allows you to attack every turn and you need to charge for 1 turn to use this attack again. You can negative this negative effect on Cinderace VMAX if you retreat it. Then, you can put it as an Active Pokemon again in the same turn and you will be able to use G-MAX Fire Ball.

The best way to do is to use Switch and Air Balloon togeter. One way to do is to attack Air Balloon to 1 of your Benched Pokemon which retreat cost is less than or equal to 2 Energy. Then, switch that Pokemon with your Active Cinderace VMAX by using "Switch" Item. Doing so, not only you will be attack using CInderace VMAX again also you don't need to discard any Energy cards from CInderace for retreating.
